If you scream for ice cream, then you will be super excited about these homemade nutty ice cream cones. It’s birthday week at our house. My youngest son turns SIX today. As I was looking for fun treats to serve at his party, I came across an ad for Publix grocery stores that showed waffle cones filled with ice cream and topped with nuts and chocolate. Essentially, they were homemade Nutty Ice Cream Cones. Mind blowing! You can buy waffle cones at the grocery store. How did I not know this until now?
I had to try this out for myself. I was so pleased with how easy and how tasty these treats are that I decided to share! They only have four simple components: cones, ice cream, nuts and chocolate. You can also try other toppings like sprinkles or marshmallows. Give these nutty ice cream cones a try!

Place chopped nuts in one small bowl and chopped chocolate chips in another. Scoop ice cream into a cone and dip the top in the nuts and the chocolate until covered. Serve immediately or wrap each cone in plastic and place in the freezer until you are ready to eat them.
