It’s Day 3 of 12 Days of Christmas Cookies. I am loving baking right now. You know, sometimes baking feels like a chore, but I really look forward to each batch of cookies. Maybe, by Christmas, I will be sick of them, but I don’t know. I think I will be pretty excited to pull out the cookies I have been freezing and see all 12 kinds of cookies in one place.
It will be like a cookie version of “We Are the World.” Total celebrity cookie madness. I will be more than happy to be the paparazzi when that party happens. I am pretty sure my boys will be, too.
Today’s star is the Chocolate Crinkle. This is my Asa’s favorite! I’m pretty partial to it as well, because it’s chocolate. They are tasty, pretty and super simple to make!
I use this recipe from Betty Crocker and they turn out great every time!
Chocolate Crinkles are great for a cookie swap because you can easily get 5 or more dozen out of one batch. They are also very sturdy, something that is key for when you have to transport cookies.
