I might just have a thing for pheasants. Or maybe they have a thing for me. Ever since I inherited a couple of pheasant home decor pieces, they seem to just keep popping into my life. I can’t seem to get enough.
This is the one that started it all. This pretty came from my Great Aunt Dot’s home, a trophy from my avid hunter, Great Uncle Joe. I found him in a box in my parents’ garage, dusted him off and decided that I needed to have him on my wall.
Then along came this wooden one, also from my Aunt Dot’s collection.
Last year, while on a girls’ weekend in my hometown, I found this pair in an antique store.
I knew I wanted them, but resisted buying them that weekend. A couple of days later, I was still thinking about them, so I asked my Mom to go back and buy them for me. Fortunately, they were still there!
My Mom also picked up this cute pair!
I love how they are all different. Now I just need a set of these babies!
