Aren’t you glad it’s Friday? There’s nothing like kicking off the weekend with a delicious cocktail.
One of my favorite cocktails right now is the Paloma. I have been crazy for pink grapefruit for over a year now. It started with an obsession with Greyhounds made with pink grapefruit juice. Then, I started adding a twist of lime to them.
One night, when I was out with some girlfriends, I had a Blood Orange Paloma. It was dreamy! So, soon after, I bought some tequila and some La Croix grapefruit flavored sparkling water. I sort of fumbled my way through making my own version of a Paloma. It’s not exactly the “classic” recipe, but it’s really delish. It’s light and refreshing.
Here’s my version:
Paloma
Ingredients
- 1.5 oz silver tequila
- 4 oz pink grapefruit juice
- Juice of 1/4 of a fresh lime
- Splash of Grapefruit or Lime sparkling water
Instructions
- Fill a glass with ice. Squeeze the lime. Add tequila and grapefruit juice. Stir. Add a splash of the sparkling water.
Happy Friday!
