Heat a medium sized skillet to medium heat. Add a drizzle of olive oil to pan.
Add sausages and cook until beginning to brown, turning occasionally, about 5 minutes.
Add water, vinegar and lemon to pan. Cook 5 minutes more.
Cover pan and cook 2-3 minutes.
Remove sausages from pan. You can drizzle the liquid over the sausages when serving or just discard the sauce.
